I stayed in the Nira Alpina a few years ago and visited last summer and I love to go back. Silvaplana is such an amazing little city in the alps. When we stayed for my birthday we were in a jr suite and it was spacious, clean and so comfortable. The overall design of the hotel is top notch. But what I was impressed with most is the staff. While we were there my daughter got sick and the staff helped us find a doctor to see right away. Then, for the rest of our trip everyone we saw made a point to ask how our daughter was feeling and if there was anything they could do to help. They even arranged a special room service birthday dinner for us since we couldn't go to the restaurant with a sick little girl. These are the sorts of things I love about hotels. When the staff makes you feel like you are the only person staying there! I love this hotel and hope to go back for a stay very soon.
